Research Assistant: Aotearoa Design for Biodiversity
Kia ora koutou,
We are seeking a Research Assistant to help develop case studies for the Aotearoa Design for Biodiversity Guide - an output of the People, Cities & Nature research project. The work will focus on mana whenua-led urban design and architecture projects in Aotearoa that support biodiversity and ecological regeneration.
The role involves literature-based research, sourcing images, and working collaboratively with our research team. Approximately 30 hours of work are available, with completion expected by mid-October 2025.
This opportunity is well-suited to postgraduate students with backgrounds in architecture, urban design, ecology, or related areas. Familiarity with mātauranga Māori is required.
